Prof. Dr. Cordelia Friesendorf of SRH Berlin University of Applied Sciences and SRH Campus Hamburg pitched and promoted German-Indian university cooperation initiatives in healthcare, engineering and technology management as part of the German State Thuringia’s Business and Academic Delegation to India in September 2022. Accompanied by Minister Tiefensee, Prof. Dr. Friesendorf met with Mr. Rajeev Chandrasekhar, Minister of Skills Development and Entrepreneurship, Government of India to discuss skills development of Indian healthcare professionals in SRH campuses with the broader goal of staffing in German hospitals and clinics. Among others, cooperation talks centered on developing joint capacity in artificial intelligence, start-ups in DeepTech and setting up of competence centers between the SRH faculties and Indian businesses and universities in New Delhi, Coimbatore and Pune.
