Congratulations to the title Professor

Last month, another award ceremony took place at the SRH Campus Hamburg – we are very pleased that Prof. Dr. Friesendorf was awarded the certificate of professorship with the title: "Professor of International Business Administration" on 23 May.

Last month, another award ceremony took place at the SRH Campus Hamburg – we are very pleased that Prof. Dr. Friesendorf was awarded the certificate of professorship with the title: "Professor of International Business Administration" on 23 May. The certificate was presented during the celebrations by the President of the SRH Berlin University of Applied Sciences, Prof. Dr. Victoria Büsch.

Prof. Dr. Friesendorf began at the SRH Campus Hamburg in May 2022 and teaches in the master’s degree programs: M.A. International Business and Leadership, M. Sc. Supply Chain and Management and M.Sc. Digital Transformation Management.

Prof. Dr. Friesendorf completed her master's degree in applied economics at the Madras School of Economics. She received her doctoral degree "Dr. rer. Pol." from the Freie Universität (FU) Berlin. During her doctoral thesis tenure, Prof. Dr. Friesendorf worked as Senior Fellow at the Jean Monnet Centre of Excellence at FU Berlin. Her dissertation on the financial challenges of the EU states, in particular Great Britain, France and Germany, was awarded the European Prize by the association "Berliner Industrielle und Kaufleute".

As Director and Professor of International Management (appointed Professor in 2011 by Professor em. Dr. Dr. h.c Bert Rürup) at the International School of Management, Campus Hamburg, Prof. Dr.  Friesendorf has established international courses of study in the fields of innovation, business strategy and financial management. Furthermore, she developed successful cooperation in the form of projects and events with ministries, chambers of commerce, local and international companies.

Prof. Dr. Friesendorf has many years of extensive experience in university management – in the last 11 years she has successfully worked in the accredited private education industry in northern Germany.  Prior to her academic career, she gained leadership experience in building high-performing multicultural research and consulting teams.
