SRH in talks with Hamburg’s lawmakers Arne Platzbecker and Annkathrin Kammeyer

Prof. Dr. Victoria Büsch and Prof. Dr. Cordelia Friesendorf held discussions with Mr. Arne Platzbecker and Ms. Annkathrin Kammeyer who are elected members of Hamburg’s legislative assembly.

Prof. Dr. Victoria Büsch and Prof. Dr. Cordelia Friesendorf of SRH Berlin University of Applied Sciences and SRH Campus Hamburg held discussions with Mr. Arne Platzbecker and Ms. Annkathrin Kammeyer who are elected members of Hamburg’s legislative assembly. Both are social democrats.

Mr. Platzbecker, a lawyer by profession, has responsibilities for economic, cultural and tourism development in Hamburg, as well as for his electorate St. Pauli. He is Chair of the Data Protection and Freedom of Information Committee in Hamburg’s legislative Assembly. Ms. Kammeyer, a political scientist, and practitioner was the youngest elected lawmaker in 2011 to Hamburg’s legislative assembly. During her tenure as assembly member, she was also member of the student union in Hamburg University. She is Chair of SPD Billstedt with a direct mandate for the electorate Billstedt-Wilhelmsburg-Finkenwerder. She is responsible for the clusters: science, research, equality; social growth and integration; and sports.

It was an honor and pleasure to meet and discuss initiatives to build cooperative alliances between Hamburg’s diverse businesses and SRH’s talent pool in research and business practices with two of Hamburg’s enthusiastic and extremely knowledgeable politicians.

We thank both assembly members for their time and support!

Prof. Dr. Cordelia Friesendorf
