Innovation Challenge in Cooperation with VW

At the Pitch Day as part of the Innovation Challenge in cooperation with Volkswagen Group Services GmbH, the students of the Digital Transformation Management Master's programme presented innovative business models.

Pitch Day ends successfully

Three topics, three innovative pitches: The students of the Master's programme "Digital Transformation Management" presented their business models at the end of the module "Innovation Management". The topics were set by cooperation partner Volkswagen Group Services GmbH: "Micro Mobility", "Decarbonisation" and "Future 6G High Bandwidth Wireless Networking Applications in Production Environments".

The students had two weeks to work in groups on a suitable business model for the topic of their choice and to present it in a pitch. A mentor from the VW Group supported each team during the development process. This feedback was particularly useful and motivating for the students.

This resulted in great pitches, which were presented and awarded in an online event. The advantage for the students: They now have a personal contact at Volkswagen Group Services GmbH and may be able to continue working on their topics later as part of an internship. The Innovation Challenge was also worthwhile for the cooperation partner: exciting approaches were developed that had not been thought of before.

Professor for Digital Business

It was great for the students to have a task from real industry for which they could use their knowledge from the module. I am happy that such great pitches came out of this challenge.
