Anke Nehrenberg CEO from the Hamburg consulting company “kommitment” and her colleague Dr. Johannes Mainusch visited us on April 20th for our first Rooftop-Talk of the Summer Semester 2022 here at the SRH Campus Hamburg.
Our Hamburg students were offered an exciting impulse lecture on the innovative topic "Digital Transformation - Don't fix the past - Create the future!" as well as a subsequent networking and discussion session. The speakers gave exciting insights into the following topics: "Digital Transformation" und "Change-Management", with a closer look at what “transformation” is all about and looking ahead where the digital challenges lie. A number of interesting practical “real life” examples were explained, which illustrated the students the connection between practice and theory. Furthermore dimensions of transformation initiatives were listed, like for example teamwork using agile methods, the development of new products and services and as well the use of digital technologies. Concerning the question about “key learnings” Anke Nehrenberg mentioned the following: "Communication is key", "People are the new gold" und "Fail stands for first attempt in learning".
The key learning “Just do it” was also mentioned in relation to this topic "be brave and allow yourself to make mistakes."
