Your Master's in Sustainability Management

In our Master's programme Sustainability Management, you learn how to critically and systematically deal with the constantly changing issues surrounding sustainability. You develop the ability to understand the connections between the economy, society and the environment in an entrepreneurial and professional context and you know how to come up with future-oriented strategies. By dealing with financial mechanisms and other sustainability-relevant regulations (a.o. ESG) during your studies, you understand their importance and learn to apply them in specific business situations.

You learn about digital innovations such as greentech, blockchain and frugal innovation and how to use them to develop sustainable business models - whether in customer relationships, supply chains or human resources. With your degree, you also acquire the communication skills to initiate and accompany change management processes in companies.

Our requirements

Requirements 2-year option (120 ECTS)

University degree, e.g.

  • min. 3-year Bachelor's degree in business/sustainability (if you do not have the degree certificate yet, you can also submit it before you start your studies) OR
  • min. 3-year Bachelor's degree in another area + min. 6 months of relevant work experience in management/business/sustainability

Requirements 1-year option (60 ECTS)

University degree, e.g.

  • 4-year Bachelor's degree in business/sustainability (if you do not have the degree certificate yet, you can also submit it before you start your studies) OR
  • 4-year Bachelor's degree in another area + min. 6 months of relevant work experience in management/business/sustainability OR
  • 3.5-year Bachelor's degree in business/sustainability + min. 12 months of relevant work experience in management/business/sustainability OR
  • 3.5-year Bachelor's degree in another area + min. 18 months of relevant work experience in management/business/sustainability OR

Your tuition fees

The tuition fees are as follows:

Citizenship | EU/EEA (incl. Switzerland, Western Balkans and Ukraine)

  • 1-year version (2 semesters; 60 ECTS) | EUR 850 / month
  • 2-year version (4 semesters; 120 ECTS) | EUR 790 / month

Citizenship | Non-EU/EEA

  • 1-year version (2 semesters; 60 ECTS) | EUR 6850 / semester
  • 2-year version (4 semesters; 120 ECTS) | EUR 6450 / semester

The amount is fixed for the entire study period.

In addition, an enrolment fee of €750 for EU/EEA students (€1000 for non-EU/non-EEA students) is due at the beginning of the course.

Application process and deadlines

We are happy to welcome you to SRH Campus Hamburg. This is our application process:

  1. You submit your online application via the SRH application portal
  2. If you meet the admission requirements, we will invite you to a personal/phone interview
  3. If the interview is successful, you will receive an acceptance letter and the study contract
  4. You sign the study contract and send it back to us
  5. You pay the enrolment fee (all students) and – if you are a non-EU/non-EEA student – a EUR 3000 deposit
  6. You receive your letter of admission
  7. You take part in our Welcome Week and then you are good to go!
